Brandon & Kyra // Battle Ground Lake State Park Engagement Session

This beautiful fall engagement session at the state park in Battle Ground was sooo much fun! Brandon + Kyra met online a year ago, and within a week, went on a date. Kyra said that she used to get a huge knot in her stomach whenever she went on dates, but with Brandon…it was different. She instantly felt comfortable with him and didn’t want that first date to end! Within a few weeks, they were officially dating, and they both knew that this was it for them.

The proposal story is so dang sweet, I just have to share it with you all!

He had an elaborate plan for a family BBQ. His plan was that we were going to have a cornhole tournament during the BBQ and our entire family was going to throw the game so that I would win and my prize was going to be the ring. However, USPS decided his plans were going to be different when they didn’t deliver the cornhole game before the BBQ. Instead, during the BBQ he tied the ring with a ribbon around one of our puppy’s necks and sent him over to me. He got down on one knee in front of both of our families and popped the question! (I cried and so did both of our moms.)

These two people are so genuinely kind and caring, and so passionate about each other and their little family. (Peep the cutest dogs eeever.) They told me that they want to be the kind of household that people can come into anytime and just feel at home. If my time with them was any indication, they’ll succeed in that goal. It was so easy to converse with them both, and I really enjoyed every moment with them!

Brandon + Kyra, thank you so much for inviting me into your story and allowing me to be a part of this chapter. I cannot wait for your wedding next July!
