Dylan & Rebekkah // Engagement Session at Cannon Beach
Dylan & Rebekkah’s engagement session at Cannon Beach this past weekend was SO much fun! I met Rebekkah when we both attended Corban University years ago, and hers is one of the friendships I treasure the most from my time there! I hadn’t met Dylan until Sunday, but knowing what I do about Rebekkah, I think they’re absolutely PERFECT for each other!
These two met on a dating app (Coffee Meets Bagel), where Dylan was Rebekkah’s first match! Rebekkah says that, “on our first date we had each planned to spend about an hour together. We wound up sitting in the middle of the bookstore for almost four hours before realizing we both had to go. Driving home I remember thinking (and hoping) that we would see each other again; I knew he was someone I wanted to know everything about and I remember thinking ‘that’s it, he is it, God let me be worthy of this man.'”
For their 3 year anniversary, the two planned out a hike to celebrate. Right after they had finished up their hiking fuel snack, and with a gorgeous view of the Columbia River Gorge, Dylan pulled out a ring. He told Rebekkah that he couldn’t imagine spending his life with anyone else, and asked her to marry him. Rebekkah said that she was already sobbing by the time Dylan actually asked the question, because of the depth of love in her heart for this man. But somehow, she managed to still say ‘YES!'”
These two are tying the knot this coming September, and I cannot wait to be there to photograph their day! It’s been my honor and privilege to work with them so far, and I know their wedding day is going to be AMAZING.
