Kevin & Heather // Engaged

This engagement session had aaallll the Sound of Music vibes.

I mean come on! Rolling hills with grass blowing in the wind, a blonde haired beauty, and a few of my favorite things (mountains + photography + super in love couples + THE CUTEST PUPPY IN THE WORLD). Pretty much it was the best session in the history of ever, and I definitely wouldn’t be mad about repeating it every single day!

We choose the location based off google photos and a recommendation from my sweet friend Felicia of Feedle Bee Photography, and it *seriously* did not disappoint! Short walk from the car + so, so many good photo spots and vantage points = a big ole “yes!” in my book.

And can we just talk about Kevin and Heather’s puppy for a moment?! Kevin’s forever dream has been to own a Husky, and just over two months ago, they brought Stryker home! He was literally the softest thing I have ever touched, and ohmygosh you guys I could have drowned in his big ole puppy eyes. He made it very obvious that the session was aaalll about him, and that he was not impressed at all with the shots we took without him. (Notice him photobombing that lift shot.) I think I may start making it a requirement that couples bring puppies to their sessions from now on. (Kidding. Sorta.)

Kevin + Heather, thank you guys for a) being totally up for anything and braving the crazy wind, and b) for bringing Stryker to your session!! (Sorry, I’ll try to stop talking about him for a minute here.) But seriously, you guys were an absolute joy to photograph. The love you have for each other is so incredibly strong and just makes a person fall in love with love all over again! I am so honored to be a part of your life in this way and cannot WAIT for your wedding in just over a month!!
