Miss Gracie // A Girl and Her Horses

This ridiculously grown up girl is just about as horse crazy as I was at that age, and (just like me) it doesn’t look like that craziness will subside anytime soon. We ended her family’s session with a few shots of her and her horses, which was seriously the best idea I have had in a long time.

I wish so badly that I had shots like these with my childhood horses, and seeing Gracie’s face light up when I showed her the back of the camera just made my heart so happy. She’s had Blue for what seems like forever (please enjoy that black and white shot that baby photographer Rebekah took of Blue and baby Gracie), and Rain came to join their family just a couple years ago.

Gracie has such a beautiful connection with both of her horses, and has grown so much as a horsewoman in the past years. I can’t wait to see where this crazy horse girl journey takes her, because speaking from experience, I know it’s going to be a wild + wonderful ride. (No pun intended!)
