Pendleton & Julia // Married

Pendleton & Julia got married last Friday at the ever-beautiful Yellow Gold Farm, in what turned out to be the warmest and sunniest day Oregon has seen in months! The weather forecast was for heavy rain and winds up to 55 mph, but after a few early morning showers, the sky cleared and the sun shone brightly for the rest of the day. (Thank you, Jesus!)

From the Groom’s elk antler ring (made by Rogue Antler Arts in Eagle Point, OR) to the heirloom jewelry the Bride wore, to the Bride’s unborn niece kicking her auntie during the bridal party photos, to the way the Groom teared up when he saw his Bride walking down the aisle toward him, to the Father-of-the-Bride speech which ended with uproarious laughter as he pretended to choke up at the realization his little girl wouldn’t be there to make coffee for him anymore, their whole day was full of beautiful details, special moments, and hearty laughter. Plus, Julia has worked at Yellow Gold Farm for years, which made having her wedding there just that much more special!

Speaking of the venue, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Heather and her wonderful team there are Yellow Gold Farm. They are fast, efficient, professional, and so caring. Exactly the type of people you want around you on your wedding day! I have been honored to photograph two of Heather’s employees get married there, and I never get tired of seeing the huge smile on Heather’s face when she sees her girl all dressed up ready to marry the love of their life. They definitely act more like family than employer/employee, and it is such a sweet relationship to behold!

Pendleton + Julia, oh goodness. What do I even say to you two? You compliment each other in such a beautiful way, and I know that marriage will only strengthen the amazing bond you have. Pen, you are a lucky, lucky man. Thank you for loving and caring for my sweet friend so well! Ju, you are one of those people who becomes a bosom friend about five minutes after meeting them, and then proceeds to challenge you and push you to be more like Jesus. I am so thankful to have met you so many years ago, and to now be able to capture such an amazingly special time of your life. I love you both so much and cannot wait to see how the Lord works in your life through your marriage!
