Last week, as the tops of the mountains began to glow with the early light of sunrise, Steven, Heather, and myself hiked through Rocky Mountain National Park. Our destination? Dream Lake for Steven & Heather’s couples session.
Steven & Heather were on their first vacation sans kiddos, and wanted to commemorate their trip with some photos. It was suuuch a joy working with them…they’re truly just the kindest people! I think that’s one of my favorite things about my job. Not only do I get to travel to some incredible places, but I get to meet so many amazing people along the way.
Speaking of travel, this was my first time in Rocky Mountain National Park, and actually my first time in Colorado in general! I didn’t get to explore as much as I would’ve liked, but believe me when I say that I was soaking up every single step of our hike into Dream Lake. The land is so wildly beautiful, and absolutely breathtaking during the early morning hours! (Despite all five million mosquitos we dealt with.)
Steven & Heather, thank you again so much for bringing me along to capture your Dream Lake couples session. I loved every moment with you two, and hope our paths cross again someday!
