The Best of 2018

Wow, what a year 2018 has been. If you would have told me last year at this time, that right now I would be finishing out my last week as a full time employee, I would have laughed in disbelief. I’ve grown so much as a photographer this year, which I think is pretty evident from the photos at the beginning of this post (earlier in the year) vs the photos at the end of the post (most recent).

There is no way that I would be able to share every single one of my favorite shots from this year, but I wanted to round up at least some of my favorite images + moments to share with y’all as we close out this year.

I am ever grateful to every husband + wife that trusted me on the most important day of their life, to every mama who rallied the troops all for just one nice photo of everyone smiling at the camera, to every couple who got all snuggly in front of my camera, to every senior who rocked the spotlight, to every person who turned into a model for a few hours so I could get the shots I wanted, and to every client who keeps coming back.

2018 was a year of hard, hard work, lots of hills and valleys, some sweat + blood, and so many learning opportunities. But I wouldn’t have traded any of it for the world, because it has made me who I am today, and I know that I am ready to tackle 2019 because of this past year.

So here’s to 2018 and all the brutiful (brutal + beautiful) growth and exciting changes it brought, and here’s to all the INCREDIBLE clients I had the honor of serving this past year. I love you all!
