Mr & Mrs Caro // An Intimate Backyard Wedding

As we all know, COVID-19 has thrown a wrench in the gears of just about everyone’s plans. Some of my couples have had to postpone their weddings or elopements, and a lot of them have moved to an intimate backyard wedding. But despite this day not looking exactly like Hector & Erinn had originally planned, it was still amazing!

This spring, prior to COVID-19, we headed out to Cape Kiwanda for their engagement session. We frolicked around the beach, and ended the session with Hector & Erinn jumping in the water. Seriously, ya’ll need to go check out that blog post and read their sweet love story. In that post, I mention something that still rings true:

“They laugh so easily together, and then the next moment, slide into this comfy space where they seem enveloped by the knowledge that they’ve found the one their soul truly loves.”

Their wedding was held at Hector’s parent’s home. Family and friends and dogs gathered to celebrate, and everything about it was absolutely perfect. From the short and sweet ceremony, to every beautiful detail at the reception, there was so much love and care put into this day. I’m so thankful that I was able to be a part of it, no matter what it looked like!

Hector & Erinn, you two are some of the most wonderful humans ever, and I hope you know that. I’ve loved spending time with you, and I can’t wait to get you two in front of my camera again! Congratulations on the new house, and on FINALLY being married!! (Wow, it’s been a big year for you guys.) Love you both!
