Scott & Amy // Cape Kiwanda Engagement Session
Scott & Amy’s Cape Kiwanda engagement session this past week was sooo beautiful! It’s hard to go wrong with the towering rocks and crashing waves of Cape Kiwanda. There’s just something so magical and romantic about that area! And these two love birds fit right in there like it was meant to be.
As anyone who has ever been to the Oregon coast knows, the weather can be hit or miss. Especially in early May! But wow, we lucked out with brilliant sunshine and bright blue skies. It was too windy to be up on top of the dune, but there’s a little cove I know of that provided just the right amount of shelter. We had to race the incoming tide a little bit, but thankfully we didn’t end up with any stuck-in-the-sand vehicle adventures!
Scott & Amy were sooo much fun to watch together and photograph. They’re both completely enamored with each other, which makes my “job” even more of a joy! (Also, how did I get so lucky to call THIS my job??)
They are tying the knot this coming summer at Domaine Roy & fils, and I absolutely cannot wait for their big day! I’ve photographed one wedding at Domaine Roy, and I’m so excited to be back at their beautiful vineyard! Seriously, if you ever want to go wine tasting, check them out!
