If you’re looking for a wedding venue in Salem or the surrounding area, then this guide is a great place to start! I’ve compiled a list of the best wedding venues in or near Salem Oregon, some of which I’ve personally photographed at. No matter if you’re looking for a beautiful outdoor space, a vineyard with stunning views, or a large ballroom, this guide has a little of everything!

(If you have any questions or want to know my thoughts on a particular venue, please contact me.)

Deepwood Museum & Gardens

This venue is absolutely stunning! Situated in the heart of Salem, Deepwood Museum & Gardens is the perfect location for your fairytale garden wedding. There is an endless supply of beautiful photo locations, no matter the season. Per their website, their packages range from $2,360 to $4,012. Two of their gardens can accommodate 250 each, another holds 150, and the last holds 100 guests.

Log House Garden

Log House Garden is a beautiful venue conveniently located just a few minutes off I-5. With four landscaped acres, this venue is perfect for your outdoor wedding! They offer Monday-Friday pricing ($4,000), Sunday pricing ($4,500), and Saturday pricing ($5,000) and can accommodate up to 250 guests.

Zenith Vineyard

The reasons to love Zenith Vineyard are almost too many to list! Nestled among rolling hills with a gorgeous view of the vineyard, their 5,000 square foot ballroom is the perfect place for your wedding reception. They do not list a specific guest capacity, but do mention providing tables and chairs for 300 guests. Contact them here for their pricing and availability.

Green Villa Barn & Gardens

This is probably one of my favorite wedding venues in Salem Oregon. Green Villa Barn & Gardens offers so much, no matter what you’re looking for! This is actually two venues in one. The Barn offers a large indoor space for your reception or winter wedding, as well as a beautiful, landscaped garden. Across the road, the Garden offers a spacious and private garden setting. I have photographed a wedding at Green Villa Garden before, and I can attest to the beauty of their space and the many stunning photo locations! Both the Barn and the Garden’s pricing ranges from $2,500 for a weekday wedding to $4,000 for a Saturday wedding, and each has a capacity of 300 guests.

Willamette Heritage Center

If you’re looking for a historic venue, look no further than the Willamette Heritage Center. They offer several different spaces that can be rented for your wedding. My favorite is the Pleasant Grove Church, which would be perfect for a micro wedding! I photographed a wedding in the Dye House a long time ago, and I would imagine not much has changed in the historic space since then! Their rates and capacity ranges depending on which space you’re interested in. Click here for all the details.

If you want to go a little outside of Salem…

Perryhill Event Barn

Perryhill Event Barn is a beautifully rustic wedding venue located just a short drive from Salem. With stunning views and the classic red barn, this venue has unlimited photo possibilities. And bonus, they offer 3-day rental periods to help relieve any stress of setting up or tearing down! They are currently offering a sale of $2,900 for any remaining 2023 dates, and all 2024 dates are $3,400. Their venue is available from May through October, and the maximum capacity is 120 guests.

Grace Acres

This ranch like venue is perfect for your summer wedding! Grace Acres offers valley and mountain views, a beautiful lawn for your ceremony, and a large white tent for your reception. Per their website, their rental fee for 2023 is $5,450 and they can accommodate 200 guests and possibly more.

The Old Schoolhouse

The Old Schoolhouse is an absolutely dreamy wedding venue! They offer three different spaces: the ballroom, the orchard, and the garden. Run by a mother-daughter team, this charming venue just can’t get any better. The ballroom seats 130 for a reception and 200 guests for a ceremony. Contact them here for pricing information.

Camp Colton

If you’re planning a fairytale forest wedding, then look no further for a venue than Camp Colton. Their WWII era chapel is absolutely stunning and has an amazing history. They also have a gathering hall perfect for your cozy winter reception. Chapel capacity: 275, Event Hall capacity: 175 for dining, 245 without the use of tables. They have several different package options with lots of a la carte options, so contact them for more information.

Union Hill Grange

I had never heard of Union Hill Grange until I shot a wedding there this past fall. (View the blog post here.) It’s the perfect quaint country wedding venue, nestled in a private location with beautiful 360 views! Per their Facebook page, Mon-Thurs rentals are $250 for the full day and Fri-Sun rentals are $500 for the full day. No capacity information was available.

Vanderbeck Valley Farms

Vanderbeck Valley Farms is another venue that I’ve recently photographed a wedding at. (View the blog post here.) The owners are the kindest people, and their property has everything you could want in a rustic wedding venue! Events are only scheduled from Friday-Sunday, and they request that you contact them for pricing information.

River Bell Farm

I grew up driving past River Bell Farm before it was a wedding venue, so it’s been fun watching the venue grow over time! They offer a classic white farmhouse and red barn combination, with beautiful views of farmland and the foothills. They are able to accommodate 300 guests for outdoor events, 200 guests for indoor events, and the upstairs of the barn holds 140 guests. Pricing ranges from $5,000-$6,500 for spring, summer, and fall weddings. Contact them for winter rates.
