Christian & Miranda // Mary’s Peak Engagement Session
One of the things I love about Mary’s Peak engagement sessions is that the weather is never the same. It both presents a challenge and is super fun all at the same time! The last time I was at Mary’s Peak, we dealt with ever-changing clouds and sunshine. This time, the wind showed up with gusto! (No pun intended.) Christian & Miranda were troopers though and didn’t let it phase them one bit.
As we walked from the parking lot to the top of the mountain, we chatted away. They are so easy to talk with, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time with them! The conversation just flows freely with some couples, and it certainly did with these two. They’re super driven and devoted to each other, and just freaking adorable to boot!
Their story began back in 2011 when they were introduced through a mutual friend. But they were both dating other people at the time. Miranda said the first thing she noticed about Christian was that he was tall, dark, and handsome! Christian said the first thing he noticed was Miranda’s beautiful blue eyes. They remained friends for a few years, until Christian asked Miranda to be his girlfriend while on a walk on Cannon Beach. Fast forward to this past Valentine’s Day, and Christian proposed on the same beach!! Talk about the sweetest story!
Christian & Miranda, thank you so much for making the trip all the way down from Washington for these photos! It was a pure joy to spend time with you guys. (Even though the wind was trying to carry us away the whole time!) I praying that the rest of the wedding planning goes smoothly, and I hope our paths cross again someday soon!
