Micajah & Irina // Abiqua Falls Adventure Engagement Session
When we say that this engagement session was an “adventure engagement session” boooooy do we mean it was an ADVENTURE engagement session! For anyone who’s ever been to Abiqua Falls, you know the rather steep hike to the falls. And for anybody who hasn’t been there, steep = ropes that you need to hang onto so that you don’t just tumble down the hill. The hike itself is only about 2 miles each way, (if you park before the big, huge, car-eating potholes). But boooy will those 2 miles coming back up WORK your booty. (Note: AllTrails online says that this hike is over 5 miles, but that is if you park further up the road. “The further down the road you go, the sketchier it gets.”)
At one point, Irina said, “we’ll we’re definitely not disappointed with the adventure part of this session!” Music to my ears.
Micajah & Irina are two of the sweetest people. They met while working at Costco, and their relationship is soooo full of laughter. Hanging out with them was a complete joy! Abiqua Falls is one of Irina’s favorite hikes, so it was absolutely perfect to shoot their engagement session there.
I can’t wait for these two cuties to tie the knot, and I’m so freaking honored that I get to be a part of this journey that they’re on!
