Dan + Rebekah // Styled Session
Last winter I had an idea for a shoot. I envisioned what the dress, the people, and the location would look like. Months of planning, and a few changes to that vision later, and last Saturday the session finally came to life!! It was *so* much better in real life than I could have ever imagined, and I am so excited to share it with you all!
My drop dead gorgeous friend Rebekah and her boyfriend modeled for me and knocked it out of the park with both their infectious laughter and their raw + tender moments. Capturing your friends is such an honor and a privilege, and something that I will always love doing!
Rebekah’s skirt came from Mr. Pretty Skirt (you can find it here) and her bouquet was made by Yvonne of Lilacs and Lilies, who once again absolutely exceeded my expectations for florals! I sent her a few ideas off Pinterest, and she took all of my ideas and requests and made something so majestic and perfect that I could hardly believe it! If anyone is looking for a florist, I would highly, highly recommend Yvonne!
To Yvonne: thank you for just being the sweet soul that you are and creating these beautiful pieces for me and my shoots! I treasure the relationship that we have and cannot wait to collaborate with you more!
To Dan + Rebekah: you guys are just the best. The end. No but seriously, I am so thankful for your willingness to be dragged through forests, and for the chemistry that you guys bring to every photo session I’ve ever done with you! You make my job so easy and joyful, and yours is one of the sessions I would love to shoot for the rest of my days.
