Heather // Headshots

Friday night, my friend Heather and I both got all fancy and climbed Mary’s Peak to take each other’s head shots. We got plenty of smiles and strange looks from passer-bys (and a lot of “oh my goodness you must be freezing” from motherly ladies) and a group of boys absolutely made fun of us, but hey! You throw two photographer friends together and you are bound to get some strange antics. (Twirling so hard we almost fell off the mountain, stumbling over air and just about falling off the mountain, laughing so hard that we mascara running down our faces, and scrambling up the sides of hills in dresses…just to name a few!)

I  have never seen anyone go from smolder to full on beautiful smile as quickly and effortlessly as this drop dead gorgeous friend of mine. I mean seriously, the girl has both those looks NAILED. Not only is she stunning on the outside, she also has a heart of gold and loves Jesus fiercely. I think everyone should have a Heather-friend in their life.

We wrapped up the session just as the clouds started to roll in and surround the top of the mountain, and then walked back to my car with frozen fingers + crazy wind-blown hair + big smiles on our faces from the last hour plus of laughter.

Heather, thanks for always being up for a photo adventure, and for not laughing too hard at my frustration with the bus that went 18 mph up that hill. You’re a princess among women, and I am so thankful to call you my friend!
