Jacob & Alexa // Fall Engagement Session at Mount Pisgah Arboretum
This fall engagement session at Mount Pisgah Arboretum last week was what fall dreams are made of. The colors, the moody Oregon weather, the sweet couple…everything came together to create magic!
Jacob & Alexa are one of my 2022 couples, but one of my associate wedding photographers will actually be shooting their wedding! How this works is when a couple inquires for a date that I’m already booked, I will (if the couple agrees, of course!) send a photographer in my place to photograph their day. I will still be the one in contact with the couple and the one helping them plan things out, until about the week of the wedding when I introduce them to my associate and turn communication over to her. Then post-wedding, I receive all of the images from my associate, which I then run through my normal post-processing! This is such an amazing way to be able to serve more couples, especially since there are just so many dates available, and no more!
I’ve also associate shot a few weddings for fellow photographer friends, and in fact, just came home from associate shooting a wedding in Wisconsin the weekend before Jacob & Alexa’s engagement session!
Even though I won’t be there in person for Jacob & Alexa’s big day, I know that they will still be loved on sooo well by my associate. I’m so blessed to have them as part of my 2022 wedding line up, and I cannot wait to see the magic from their wedding! These two are truly perfect for each other, not to mention straight up models in front of the camera. Their fall engagement session at Mount Pisgah was a dreeeeeam, and I’m so excited to share it with you all!
Jacob & Alexa, thank you so much for trusting me and my company to capture such an important time in your life. You’re some of the sweetest people ever, and it’s been an utter joy working with you so far!
