Josh & Amy // Couple’s Adventure Session

I honestly don’t even feel that words will be sufficient for this session. Just over a week ago after church, my cousin and I loaded up in the car and made the 3+ hour drive to the Willamette National Forest, where we met up with Josh and Amy at the trailhead to Benson Lake. The location was extra special to Josh and Amy, as they had camped there just last year.

The trail in was a pretty easy 1.5ish miles, with the last little bit requiring some more intense scrambling up and over boulders. But oh, that view was so, so worth it. The mid-afternoon sunshine was pretty intense, but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity for some shots with Three Sisters in the background before we moved over toward the lake (heellllloo there beautiful backlight). The mosquitos must have felt the same way, because the closer we go to the lake, the more intense the sqiters got. But hey! Sometimes you gotta endure a little bit of pain to reap a reward, and these photos were definitely a big one!

Josh + Amy, thank you guys so much for being willing to brave the elements, and make it look GOOD while you were at it!! I had so much fun with you both, and hope that this isn’t the last time we go for an adventure together!
