Mr & Mrs Horn // A Small Town Country Wedding in Scio, Oregon

This small town country wedding in my hometown of Scio, Oregon last Saturday was sooo dreamy. Jesse & Helena are two of my all time favorite clients, and watching them re-commit their lives to each other was such an honor!

Jesse is in the Marine Corps, and last summer these two got married in an intimate ceremony down in California. But they knew they still wanted to celebrate with their family & friends, and so they planned this beautiful small town country wedding at Soaring Hearts Event Center. There was so much love and joy all around, and so much general merrymaking! I honestly could photograph this day over and over again.

Earlier this spring, while on a road trip, I met up with Jesse & Helena in Malibu for their engagement session. El Matador Beach was crawling with people, but we still ended up with some of my favorite beach photos ever. Make sure to check out the engagement session blog post by clicking here!

Remington, Jesse & Helena’s sweet puppy, made several appearances throughout the wedding day. You’ll have to scroll through to see, but oh my word that dog definitely stole the spotlight! Soooo much cuteness. I just love it when my couples incorporate their animals into our time together!

Jesse & Helena, it was such a joy being able to work with you guys again…I’m so honored to have been such a big part of your journey! Thank you both so much for your services and sacrifices with the Marine Corps. I pray that God would watch over you and protect you as you serve our nation, and that He would bless you in your marriage. Best of everything to you both!
