Jesse & Helena // Couple’s Session on El Matador Beach
Last week, I met up with Jesse & Helena for their couple’s session on El Matador Beach in Malibu, CA. What you can’t see in these photos is the massive number of people swarming the beach! I had to be super strategic about my angles and we even had to wait “in line” for a few spots. Definitely not my favorite thing, but WOW these photos were soooo worth it.
I first met Jesse & Helena about a year and a half ago at their couple’s session turned engagement session. They’re now stationed in CA with the Marine Corps, and tied the knot last summer in an intimate ceremony. They’ll be celebrating with a big wedding this coming summer at Soaring Hearts Event Center. Getting them in front of my camera again for this couple’s session on El Matador last week was SO fun! And it made me just that much more excited to photograph their big celebration later this summer. Repeat customers are one of my favorite things, especially because I am constantly improving + growing + pushing myself, and I know I’m giving them a better experience each time.
Jesse & Helena, thank you for trusting me to capture so many special moments for you, and for being down for anything and everything. I’m pretty sure these are my favorite beach photos to date! Jesse, thank you for your service to our country, and Helena, thank you for ALL the ways you support him. Love you guys, and cannot WAIT for your wedding this summer!
