Mr & Mrs Raz // Rainy & Romantic Wedding at Lakeside Gardens
The gloomy weather and pouring rain might have changed their plans for an outdoor wedding, but nothing could stop Davis & Brooke from absolutely radiating happiness on their wedding day.
Two weeks ago, these two were married in what ended up being a both rainy & romantic wedding at Lakeside Gardens. We had of course hoped for sunshine, but Oregon apparently forgot that it was the middle of June, and it poured rain most of the day! Thankfully, Lakeside Gardens has a beautiful gazebo that we were able to utilize for the portraits. Then later in the day, we slipped outside for some rainy & romantic portraits of the newlyweds. I don’t think I’ve ever been more thankful for clear umbrellas!
Davis & Brooke’s beach engagement session was a stark contrast to their wedding day. The weather was mild & we had an abundance of golden sunlight. But come rain or shine, these two simply beam with joy! (Keep scrolling and you’ll see what I mean!)
I always get emotional watching my couples get married…it’s just part of my “modus operandi”! But I was *really* fighting back the tears as Davis & Brooke pledged their lives to each other. The love & devotion they have for each other is second only to their love & devotion to Jesus, and WOW it was a beautiful thing to see as it played out during their wedding day.
Davis & Brooke, thank you SO much for bringing me along on this chapter of your journey. I’m so impressed by the two of you and your unwavering love of Jesus. I know that love will hold you fast through all the many joys and challenges that marriage brings! Congratulations once again!
