Nicholas & Neonila // Trillium Lake Engagement Session
Oh my goodness, this snowy engagement session at Trillium Lake was what winter-y dreams are made of! Nick & Nila are getting married in a traditional Russian wedding next May, and decided to have their engagement photos taken in the snow this past weekend. Funny enough, the date that worked for their session also happened to be their 1 year anniversary!
We were planning for a snowy, lakeside session. But the road was closed off due to snow, and the trek down to Trillium Lake was over 1.5 miles. So we opted for a snowy woods engagement session instead! Nila spotted this amazing clearing, which was the absolute perfect spot.
I always love photographing in the snow, because it acts as a natural reflector…plus, all white! And can we just appreciate the cozy blanket that Nila brought? I love what simple little props bring to images!
