Rob & Lindy // Albany Oregon Engagement Session

You know the saying, laughter is the best medicine? Well, these two might just be the healthiest people I’ve ever met then, because they hardly stopped laughing for the entirety of their session!

I’ve known Lindy for almost exactly 24 years (she’s my cousin, and my birthday is day after tomorrow), and I can assure you that contagious laughter and joy is nothing new for her. I don’t think she has ever met a person that she didn’t love, nor met anyone that couldn’t help but smile along with her bubbly laughter and sparkling eyes. I’ve long wondered about the type of man who would be good enough for our Lin, and I gotta say, I think she has found a keeper! Rob reminds me of my Uncle Mike (Lindy’s dad) in so many (very good) ways, and because of that, I know that he is the perfect fit for my sweet cousin. Plus, I know he has been properly vetted by my uncle and cousins/Lindy’s older brothers, and if they say he’s okay, then he’s definitely okay!

We started Rob + Lindy’s sunny Saturday afternoon engagement session at one of their favorite hangout spots, Margin Coffee, before moving down the street and then eventually to the park. As evident from the photos below, they are so comfortable together, and easily slide between laughing together + having impromptu dance parties, and cuddling into each other + just enjoying the moment. I’ve never had such an easy time helping people relax in front of the camera and just laugh together, which made me even more excited to shoot their wedding next May! We wrapped up their session on the park bench where Rob proposed, which is pretty much the perfect ending to an engagement session, dontcha think?

Rob + Lindy, thank you so much for asking me to play this role in your life and your story. It’s been an honor and a privilege to witness your relationship grow over these months, and I cannot wait to see the ways God moves through your marriage. Love you guys!
