Jon & Annie // Stunning Oregon Engagement Session
The ever-changing evening light slanted across the hills as Jon snuggled Annie up to his side. They whispered quietly to each other as I stepped back and clicked the shutter on my camera. I felt a smile stretching across my face as I watch them together, so obviously in love, and just a little oblivious to the world.
This stunning Oregon engagement session was one for the books! I’ve known Annie for years now, and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that she is one of the sweetest people I know. She is so kind, and I’ve loved getting to know her. She has a servant’s heart, and has worked with Linn County Search and Rescue for years. (Which my husband is a part of as well!) Jon seems like the perfect match for Annie, and I cannot wait to watch them start their life together!
I love getting to know all of my couples during their season of engagement, but when I know one of them previously? Well, it’s just that much more special. Last summer, I photographed another wedding for a girl I know very well, and the whole day I was on the verge of happy/sentimental tears! (Check out that wedding here…and you might just see a bridesmaid you recognize too!) I know that I’ll be on that same edge in the fall when Jon & Annie tie the knot.
To Jon & Annie: words cannot express how excited I am to watch the two of you make this lifelong commitment. I know that your marriage will be a beautiful reflection of God’s love, and I cannot wait to witness it. I love you guys!
