Kevin + Heather // Married

The sweetest couple, the most gorgeous florals you’ve ever seen, the perfect color palette, the coolest venue, oh man! If I could choose a wedding to photograph every weekend, it would definitely be this one! From the moment my second shooter and I arrived on the premises, we were met with huge smiles and were made to feel so welcome by everyone. I instantly felt like a close family friend, instead of “just” their photographer, which is definitely one of my favorite feelings ever!

Kevin and Heather’s day was full of personal touches, from the Bride wearing her mother’s earrings, to the fishing flies attached to the men’s boutonnieres that the Groom tied himself, to the adorable cake topper that the Groom’s mother made, to the cake stand that the Groom carved (as well as the ring round that he made!), to the constant high-fives that the Groom gave people, to the daddy-daughter dance song that also played during the daddy-daughter dances at the Bride’s sister’s weddings (okay that one actually made me cry), to all of the family and friends who were involved in various ways and who all did such a lovely job helping the day to run so smoothly and perfectly!

We ended the day with some husband + wife photos (totally my favorite part of wedding days) at Talking Water Gardens in Albany, before bidding farewell to the new Mr + Mrs as they headed off for their honeymoon cruise!

Kevin + Heather, you guys will go down in history as one of my favorite couples ever, even if I’m still a little bummed that Stryker wasn’t part of the wedding party! I am so thankful that I got to know you both as you start this epic new adventure together, and I hope that our paths cross again sometime soon! Best of wishes to you both!

And I’d be remise if I didn’t give a shout out to my second shooter, Gillian. Thanks for being my right hand woman, and for capturing some great moments!
