Michael & Kenzie // Rural Oregon Wedding
Once upon a time, out in the wildwoods of Oregon, a Search and Rescue volunteer married an Airman, and it was both magical and beautiful.
The wedding took place out at the county Sheriff’s posse camp, which is where the Search and Rescue Training Academy takes place every year, and since Kenzie has been part of Search and Rescue for around 7 years, getting married at the posse camp was super special to her.
From Kenzie’s wedding dress hanging on the woodshed lean-to, to the portraits we took underneath the old fir trees, to the way they kept Kenzie hidden from Michael until right before she walked down the aisle, to the Search and Rescue family photo, to the husband + wife portraits down by the river, to the speeches at the reception, and the dances and shoe game that followed, this entire day was so reflective of Michael + Kenzie and the people they are individually, but also the people they are together.
Michael + Kenzie, I’m so excited for you two as you set out on this new adventure together, and seriously can’t wait to see where life (and the military haha) takes you! Love you guys!
