Tallen & Madison // Cascade Head Day-After Adventure Session
The day after Tallen + Madison’s insanely beautiful + purely magical wedding at Three Strands Farm, we drove over to the coast for a day-after-the-wedding adventure session. I’ve always wanted to do one of these kinds of sessions, but Tal + Mads was actually the first one I’ve gotten to do!
We hiked through a beautiful, old growth forest, and broke out from the trees about the same time we crested the top of Cascade Head. The weather was sunny with light winds, perfect for adventuring and photographing! We even spotted a herd of elk in the meadow of the neighboring hill!!
Just as they were the day before at their wedding, Tal + Mads were complete naturals in front of the camera, and photographing them was not only a breeze, but also just a pure delight.
We wrapped up their session with some shots on a nearby beach, and then said our goodbyes in the parking lot before they headed toward the airport and their honeymoon in Bermuda.
I won’t repeat all the sappy things I said on their wedding blog post, but I will say that these two people are so amazing, and I’m just super duper thankful for them and thankful that I got to be their photographer!
