Alan & Sarah // Yellow Gold Farm Couple’s Session
Oh, the love! Oh, the joy! Oh, the sweetness! Capturing this wonderful couple in a mini session at Yellow Gold Farms was a dream, and shooting at Yellow Gold again was (as always) incredible. Sarah + Alan are actually shirt-tail relatives of mine, as my big brother married Sarah’s niece, and my cousin married Sarah’s other niece!
This sweet couple waited a long time for each other, patiently listening to God’s voice in their single season. They got married 4 years ago in Albany, but had some of their wedding photos taken there at Yellow Gold! Because of that, and since Sarah has a long-standing relationship with Andy + Heather (the current owners who will be passing the reins off to the Jordan family this fall!), YGF was just the logical place to hold their session.
My time with them was short, but oh boy did we have fun in those few minutes! Sarah has the most beautiful laugh, and Alan is the picture-perfect gentleman to his wife. At one point, I asked Sarah to look up at her hubby, and then asked Alan, “how does it feel to be admired?”, to which Sarah immediately replied “oh he’s very used to it!!” It’s pretty obvious from these photos that Sarah does indeed spend a lot of time admiring her husband!
Sarah + Alan, thank you so much for letting me play this little role in preserving your love story! Sarah, I’ve looked up to you for many years, and continue to do so as you lead by example in respecting and loving your man. Alan, we’re so, so glad you came along and that you love Sarah so well! I can’t wait to get you two in front of my camera again! Hugs!
