Jordan & Shay // Sparks Lake Couples Session

There are literally no words to describe how perfectly magical this couples session at Sparks Lake was!
I first connected with Shay this past spring when she entered into an engagement session giveaway I held. I literally said “awwww” the enter time I was reading her entry email because of how gosh darn cute she was! (Anybody else ready for me to do one of those giveaways again?) She said that they were basically a walking sad country song before meeting each other. But when they finally did get together, they pretty much knew instantly that it was a forever kind of love!
Shay describes Jordan as the most intelligent person she knows, and says that he encourages her everyday to be the best person that she can be. “He is my true soulmate, no one can compare to this boy!”
Watching these two people interact, it was more than obvious that Jordan feels the exact same way about Shay!
He was so kind and attentive and careful with her, and it was absolutely precious to watch! When I asked him how he would describe Shay, and what he loved most about her this is what he said that she “always tries to seize the moment! She loves living to make people comfortable and feel included but also loves being loved on. The balance between her desire to love others and be loved by me makes me a proud man. Also, she’s amazingly beautiful!”
Jordan & Shay seriously make the best power couple. Jordan is currently obtaining his civil engineering degree, and Shay is building her empire at Shay Boedigheimer Real Estate. They’re determined, driven, and ready to take on the world. Which is a common theme I see in all of my couples!
For this couples session, we headed out to Sparks Lake just a little ways west of Bend, Oregon.
Leah Mooney of LM Bridal Designs made all our hairstyle dreams come true with Shay’s hair, and I couldn’t recommend her more. If any of you Bend area ladies need a hairstylist, definitely check that girl out! Sparks Lake was, of course, beyond magical, and we hit the jackpot with amazing sunshine.
