Mr & Mrs Haley // An Elegant Late Summer Wedding
This elegant late summer wedding in Sweet Home, Oregon was a dream to photograph, and the perfect way to wrap up my 2021 wedding season!
From the sweet little details like the writing inside the groom’s wedding band, and a heart made out of the bride’s grandpa’s shirt sewn into the bride’s gown, to the groom’s father performing the ceremony and the bride’s father surprising his own bride of 20 years for a special dance, every moment of Jon & Annie’s wedding day was intentional and so incredibly special.
I’ve known Annie for years now, and I’ve always been impressed by her gentle spirit and kind heart. She will go out of her way to make you feel loved + taken care of, and truly does not know a stranger. While I don’t know Jon very well, he seems to compliment her perfectly. I cannot wait to see where life takes the two of them!
Both my husband, Nathan, and Annie have been volunteers with Linn County Search and Rescue for a long time. (Nathan has been in for 10 years and Annie for 6 years.) Over the past few years, I’ve been privileged enough to photograph the weddings of several different SAR members! To the new Mr & Mrs Haley: I wish you both a lifetime of happiness! Marriage is not always easy, but it’s so worth it. Remember to keep the Lord in the center of your relationship, and to never compare your marriage to what you see on social media. The day-in and day-out of marriage will not look like a highlight reel, and that is okay! Enjoy the little things, and enjoy each other.
